Coach Glenn
Glenn Parry
My journey in the martial arts began over 20 years ago, guided by curiosity, discipline, and a genuine love for training. Over time, I have had the privilege of studying a range of traditional and modern systems, including Chinese Martial Arts, Kung Fu, Chen Taiji, and Kickboxing, alongside coaching and development through England Boxing.
I have been fortunate to earn senior grades along the way, but titles have never been the goal. What matters most to me is practice, respect for the arts, and passing on what I have learned in a way that is safe, honest, and accessible to others.
My approach is simple: martial arts should build confidence, resilience, and self-awareness—whether someone is training for fitness, self-defence, competition, or personal growth. Every student arrives with different goals and experiences, and I aim to meet people where they are, helping them progress at their own pace.
Training is a lifelong journey. I remain a student myself, continually learning, refining, and respecting the traditions and people who have shaped my path. My role is not to stand above others, but to walk alongside them—supporting, guiding, and creating an environment where everyone feels welcome to train, grow, and belong.
